Someone collected truckloads of petrified trees from around the area and sculpted dozens of these shapes. There area also several large river rocks, known as cannonballs due to their nearly round shape.
Petrified Wood Park. At first, it sounded like some cheesy tourist trap from the 1950's. But, it's actually very interesting to look at. The park takes up an entire city block.
